Material: Italian Florentine vacchetta leather. A thicker high quality leather with beautiful grain and texture. It has an exquisite look and feel. Like fine saddlery designs, it develops a rich patina over time. This handbag is in good, preowned condition. It does show some wear. It’s missing the side tassels, but looks fine without them, to me. The leather has developed darker patina throughout. It has an overall rustic, country western or vintage look and feel to it. There are exterior scuffs and scratches that are common with the Florentine leather. There’s a deeper leather scrape on one exterior side (see photo). There’s some veining, pebbling and color variations on the exterior leather. There’s some tarnish on the hardware. The interior lining is light to medium dirty and needs cleaning for a preowned bag. Overall, this is still a lovely handbag.
