Also, it is one of the books illustrated by "Phiz," Dickens' favorite artist and this edition contains the original illustrations. The book is in excellent condition with some wear to the dust jacket as described above and see photos, as well as a couple of spots on one of the boards. Other than that, this is in excellent condition, but it has been read. The pages are all tight as is the binding. This is giftable as a reading copy, debatable as a collector's copy because of the spots to the back board of the book.
