The specimen features complete coverage of undamaged, scalenohedral crystals of calcite that have incredible sparkle and chocolate color. The matrix faces (bottom and one side) have a druse of tiny calcite crystals with red fluorescence under UV SW. The specimen comes from the collection of Dr. Eugene E. Sensel (#967, acquired in 1965). A previous label from The Thurstons will accompany the specimen to its new owner.
