Description: This is a really Subtle Medium Size Black and Gray Decorative Dog Head Pitcher or Vase with delicately hand painted Birds and flowers. Due to the high polish on this piece it is difficult to photograph properly, it is much nicer in person!!! This piece is all handmade, hand painted by a husband and wife team in the community of Huancito in Michoacan Mexico. It is signed on the bottom by the wife, and is a lovely example of traditional pottery from this part of Mexico. I recently received a large shipment of vases from Rosalia and her husband Jesus and this is one of three different sizes available for this Dog head pottery. See photo #5 for an example of the different sizes i have for sale, or go to my Ebay Store for a larger selection....It measures 9 1/2 inches tall by 7 1/2 inches wide and 7 1/4 inches deep. Please note that I would not fill with water for flowers. The clay is porous and will absorb the water and may damage the glaze. Use Dried or Silk flowers if you want to use for flower arrangements..
