Description: For sale is this vintage academic hood, probably from the 1950s or earlier. The crimson velvet trim indicates that this is is an academic hood for a doctoral degree in Theology, which would include a PhD in Theology, a PhD in Religion, a PhD in Religious Studies, a Doctor of Divinity, a Doctor of Theology, or a similar degree. The lining of the hood indicates that this is a hood from Princeton University, but it can be used for any school with orange and black colors. This is a good quality hood from the C.E. Ward Company of Ohio, which went out of business in 1968. It is in excellent condition.
