It allows for easy crafting and adjusting, no drills required. Just use hot water from the kettle or heat the gum in a bowl of water using the microwave (recommended option as it is quicker and gentler on your hands). With the impression kit materials provided to make a customised model of your mouth, you will be able to have good vision and access to construct the dental flipper at your own pace and comfort.
