Own a piece of Walt Disney World Theme Park History This extremely rare concept art is coming out of my own personal Disney Collection Its time to let someone else enjoy this extremely scarce design concept artwork for the planning of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort It was actually on display for Walt Disney Imagineers while they presented the concept art to future guests and executives Originally it was framed but later taken out of the frame when Disney no longer used it You can tell where it was inside the frame when you look at the print but it be easy to remount back in a frame especially if your a fan of Disney's Grand Floridian It would look nice if your matting was 23.5" by 17" tall Its sold as is, vintage and was displayed and shown by Imagineers to pubic and executives for the concept art of the resort Disney Grand Floridian Concept Artwork Acquired this from a Disney Legend Billy Sully Sullivan collection as I used to be personal friends with him when I lived in Florida What makes this even more rare is it was created by Legendary Artist Reggie Stanton who in 1986 attracted the attention of Disney to do the concept work for Walt Disney Imagineering and is among his first of many while working with Disney It also have the Reggie Stanton signature from this print He created this for Walt Disney Imagineers to use as thier proposed concept art for Disney's Grand Floridian I love looking at all the detail in this image as you can see the Monorail in front that is there today and the artwork matching up to the design they went with so this was more than likely the final approved design It also shows shows Bus and cars from that time period of the 1980's in the drawing There is even sailboats in the Seven Seas Lagoon but no Wedding Pavilion yet in this concept It has the Monorail Platform and all with surrounding Palm Trees Incredible early look and you can own this rare piece only made for use by Disney and not sold to public It was printed on hard foam board and overall as it sits measures 28" by 22.5" long and for framing you would want to do 23.5 by 17.5" to clear where it was hung in the sun prior Sold as pictured About the Artist Reggie Stanton for WDI: About the Artist Reggie Stanton has years of experience in conceptualizing and illustrating for the Entertainment Industry.
