This evolved version is called the "Digivice -25th COLOR EVOLUTION-." There are three versions available: the standard "Digivice -25th COLOR EVOLUTION-" and the "Digivice -25th COLOR EVOLUTION- DX Set," which comes in Taichi Yagami’s color or Yamato Ishida’s color. The appearance of the "Digivice -25th COLOR EVOLUTION-" faithfully recreates the original colors from the anime series. The exterior design is based on the 1999 version but newly engineered to include a color LCD, rechargeable battery, full-color LED, and vibration motor, all while retaining the original size. This version includes the first color LCD ever on a Digivice, featuring vivid backgrounds that change by area to add immersion. Both Digimon and "Chosen Children" characters appear during the adventure. The device is rechargeable via an included USB Type-C cable, which can be connected to a computer or other USB port. Players can choose their partner Digimon and experience the story of Digimon Adventure as one of the "Chosen Children," exploring the vast Digital World. During the adventure, the theme song "Butter-Fly" (TV size) plays as background music, and you can hear newly recorded partner Digimon voices with button presses. Boss Digimon also appear in line with the story. Battle gameplay has been significantly upgraded. Players can engage in battles using "rapid press," "shake," and "specific button press" actions. During evolution scenes, animations similar to those in the anime play, with the song "brave heart" (TV size) as BGM. Additionally, the device’s full-color LED lights up, and vibrations enhance the impact of these evolution scenes. Not only can you enjoy the music and sound effects during the adventure, but there is also a playback mode that allows you to listen to the songs and dialogue from the characters separately. You can even play music while character lines are spoken. In "Camp Mode," you can interact with your partner Digimon by feeding them, gathering around a campfire, and more, to view various scenes with your Digimon partner. A collection feature also lets you check the Digimon that have joined your team along the journey. Furthermore, the device includes the familiar communication feature, allowing communication battles with other "Digivice -25th COLOR EVOLUTION-" units, as well as with the previously released "Digital Monster COLOR" and "Digimon Pendulum COLOR" series.
