Description: This is for an original Dick Clark’s light up blinker badge in its original packaging which was produced by Emenee. Many remember the Emenee company for making the plastic guitars and organs that many of us learned our first notes of music on before our parents would buy higher end instruments. Even though the packaging says “Blinker Badge”, the badge itself says “Dick Clark’s Official American Bandstand Badge” with a small photo of Dick Clark in conjunction with Clarks popular American Bandstand TV show. The badge comes with its original packaging, along with an Emenee pamphlet and the letters you would use to put your name on the badge. The header card is a bit wrinkled and the package definitely shows some signs of aging, but these are extremely rare in this condition. Not sure if the badge came being able to light up on its own or needed batteries, but these are a must have for any early rock and roll collection.
