The units shall protrude not more than 1.5 inches when mounted on the vehicle. If a surface mount marker design is used, a custom guard to prevent damage to the light during contact shall protect the marker. All electrical connections to the LED light shall be by wire coming from the light housing and terminated with a Packard Weather Pak connector.
