Description: Nice looking desk container for pens, pencils, etc. Sturdy, it is made of blonde colored composite on the inside, framed with hand detailed teak wood on the outside. It has three sides, each with an illustration printed on glass that features images of a woman in traditional dress done in an ink and water color style of beautiful pastel tones with highly detailed black ink outlines. One side features a close up of a young woman in a dance pose—her right arm above her head, elbow bent, touching her head, eyes closed, head facing down toward her right. Her right arm is bent at the elbow, fingers touching her right shoulder. The second side depicts a full view of a young woman walking in a garden space lifting a cup to a peacock which is perched on a branch of a tree above her. The third side features a full view of young woman, again in a garden space, next to a body of water. This time she's carrying water jugs on a stick over her shoulder while gesturing toward three small antelope, a male and two females. This unusual pencil cup was given to me as a gift about 15 years ago. On the bottom, hand written, are the numbers JAL-150, and RS. 255.
