Description: This is a fairly scarce 1886 dated amber master ink bottle with pour spout lip....DESIGN PATD FEB.16TH 1886 boldly emb on bottom...Hand blown in mold...hand tooled square ring collar with crimped pour spout....amber...round with shoulder rings...7 1/4"tall...It has one chip on side of lip; no other damage. Some light haze. I believe this ink bottle may have been from the Thaddeus Davids Ink Co of Chicago & New York. I've had a couple identical bottles with labels.....
