Description: These pants were issued to Byron Beck, player #40 for the 1967-68 year. The Denver Rockets played in American Basketball Association from 1967 to 1976. In 1976 the American Basketball Association merged with the NBA. Upon notice of the merger the Denver Rockets transtioned to the Denver Nuggets. The Denver Rockets recognized Byron Beck for his great rebounding and incredible hook shot. He represented Denver in two ABA All-Star Games, 1969 and 1976. In 1977 he became the first player in the Denver franchise to have his jersey number 40 retired. In 1981 He was inducted into the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame.
