Description: Dell Four Color Comics, Tom and Jerry, Vol. 1 #91, 1952, Golden Age Classic. Admit it: Tom and Jerry takes you back to your childhood. Me too. This particular title harkens all the way back to the early days of these iconic characters--nearly 70 years, in fact. While I'm not a professional grader (and my grading is certainly subjective--truth be told, I'm a sports card collector who just came into these comics), I believe this fits the traditional description of a "Fair/Good" item (see below) Comic will be shipped in a bag with a board, and in a cardboard comic book mailer. (Of note: These comics were unearthed in a pretty awesome estate find recently. I've been told that some of them have a musty odor. I must confess, I can't smell it; but my sense of smell isn't all that keen.) *Zoom in and check photos above, as comic book pictured is comic book sold* 1.5 FAIR/GOOD (FR/GD)Shows substantial to heavy wear. Books in this grade are commonly creased, scuffed, abraded, soiled, and possibly unattractive, but still generally readable. Cover shows considerable wear and may be detached. Almost no cover reflectivity remaining. Book-length creases, tears and folds may be present. Rounded corners are increasingly common. Soiling, staining, discoloration and foxing is generally present. Up to 1/10 of the back cover may be missing. Tape and other forms of amateur repair are increasingly common in Silver Age and older books. Spine roll is common. May have a spine split between 2" and 2/3 the length of the book. Staples may be degraded, replaced or missing. Staple tears and stress lines are common, as well as rust migration. Paper is brown and may show brittleness around the edges. Acidic odor may be present. Centerfold may be loose or detached. Interior tears are common.
