Description: This is an index card (see picture) nicely signed by deceased Major League baseball pitcher TED ABERNATHY. Ted Abernathy played Major League baseball for the Reds, Cardinals, Senators, Indians, Braves, Cubs, and Royals from 1955 through 1972. He twice led the National League in saves, and was named the Sporting News Reliever of the Year. Abernathy ended his career with a 63-69 won-loss record. Sadly, he passed away in 2004 at the age of 71. This index card is clean and intact, exhibiting light wear from handling and storage over the years. The signature is very legible. It would make a nice addition to your own collection, or it would make a wonderful gift for that Ted Abernathy enthusiast, Reds, Cardinals, Senators, Indians, Braves, Cubs, or Royals historian, or vintage autograph collector in your life!
