Text alongside b/w illustrations under glassine papers in each volume. Noticeable rubbing to spines of both volumes, possibly insect damage, title stamps mostly faded but still intact. Lighter scuffing and wear to boards. Front hinges of both volumes starting & a bit fragile. Spines cracked from use, but all pages intact. Previous owner's name on front endpapers.
