Death Of Superman Magazine Tie-In Lot (2) Newstime + Comic Values Monthly

Description: You are bidding on gently used copies of two magazines tied in with the “Death Of Superman” storyline, both published in 1992. These items are from my personal library and have been well cared for. The two magazines are: 1) Comic Values Monthly: Superman Memorial Issue. This special edition features a complete history of the character as told through interviews with Siegel, Shuster, Byrne & more. Additionally, the whole issue is devoted to Superman content, including the entire price guide, which includes Superman toys and merchandise in addition to comic books. By my best estimate this issue is in VF- to VF condition, showing normal reading wear around the edges, some age tanning on the white sections of the back cover, and a couple of light creases on the cover. The fold-out poster listed on the cover is present and still bound into the magazine; it has never been removed or hung. This is a fantastic reader copy. 2) Newstime “May 1993” Issue: Superman cover story. This magazine spoofs Time/Newsweek, covering the ongoing events of the “Death Of Superman” storyline (there’s even a mock “address label” for Clark Kent’s address printed on the cover). I’d gauge this copy in the VF to VF+ range, showing just a bit of normal reading wear, mostly around the edges; there is also a slight bend to the left edge of the mag, close to the spine. Also a great reader copy. Please look at photos closely for details—they are not stock, these are the actual items you are purchasing. Magazines will be sent in fresh bags and boards. Additionally, I wrap all my items in bubble wrap to make sure they arrive just as shown in the photos, and I use high-quality LP mailers (which aren’t cheap) to ship magazines because I’ve found this is the best way to protect them during transit.
