Kakeshita is a bridal kimono worn at Japanese traditional wedding ceremony. It looks somewhat similar to Furisode Kimono for its extended sleeve length and fancy patterns, however, further difference can be observed in its overall length being longer and also the hem being slightly padded. Kakeshita is basically a wedding Kimono that is worn under the Uchikake wedding Kimono. Please keep in mind that female Kimonos are supposed to fit longer. You will need to adjust the fit to your size by tying with belt. Due to the nature of being a vintage textile product, the item might come with partial wrinkles, fold lines and stains. Most of such conditions are either depicted in the gallery photos or otherwise illustrated within the product descriptions.
