Originally published in 1951 as “A Corpse for Christmas.” Written by Henry Kane, featuring his NYC private eye, Peter Chambers. Kane wrote over 60 novels & about half of them were Chambers stories. He also wrote under the pseudonyms Anthony McCall, Kenneth R. McKay & Mario J. Sagola. Cover art by Ron Lesser. Original cover price was 35 cents. This is a low grade copy. Condition is fair/Good. Complete, but with multiple faults, including multiple creases, edge wear, heavy yellowing/browning at edges, staining (moisture damage?) & folded corners. But for me, this Ron Lesser good girl cover makes up for it all. Will be shipped in a hard cardboard mailer via Media Mail.
