This is a Comic Lot Set of 40 Issues of DC's Legion of Super-Heroes (as listed below). The Legion of Super-Heroes is an inter-galactic team of super-powered teenagers and young adults active in the 30th and 31st Century. This lot combines the last 14 issues of the Levitz-era comic, and the first 22 of the Giffen-era one, plus a few others. At Issue #314, the comic was renamed Tales of the Legion of Super-Heroes; the new series (the third publication under the title) was launched in August 1984. It used a new "deluxe" printing format utilizing Baxter paper instead of the cheaper newsprint that classic comics had always been printed on - the distinction is noticeable in the swapover.
