Vantage Pro2 Plus weather stations are simply perfect for amateur weather hobbyists and weather professionals alike! First and only weather station in its class to use frequency hopping spread spectrum radio technology to transmit weather data wirelessly up to 1000' (300 m). This model of the classic weather station consists of a console unit and an innovative integrated sensor suite. The integrated sensor suite This model Includes Vantage Pro2 console/receiver, integrated sensor suite (ISS), and mounting hardware. ISS includes rain collector, temperature and humidity sensors, anemometer, 40' (12 m) anemometer cable, solar radiation sensor, UV sensor and sensor mounting shelf. Temperature and humidity sensors are enclosed in standard radiation shield. ISS is solar powered. Electronic components are housed in a weather-resistant shelter. Console may be powered using the included AC-power adapter or with three C batteries (not included). Sensor suite can be installed up to 1000 feet away and still accurate weather data can be received inside the comfort of home or office on the console. Stylish backlit console provides continual updated weather information on 3.5-inch by 6-inch LCD screen. Console displays on-screen graphing, forecasting using easy-to-read icons (sunny, cloudy, rain, snow), barometric pressure trend, inside temperature, dew point, humidity information, time and date, and much more! Console may be powered using the included AC-power adapter or with three C batteries (not included).
