"Buy Where the Racers Buy" was the advertising tag line.Automotive Artist David Snyder creates a scene typical to Mel Burns Ford in 1967. The Shelby Mustang 427 "Super Snake" is one of several high performance Fords sold by Mel Burns Ford. The Mustang was built b Shelby American to perform high speed tire tests for Firestone. It was purchased by Mel Burns in anticipation of building 50 "Super Snakes" for public consumption.Only 500 prints were reproduced from the original painting by David Snyder. The print image measures 17.25" x 26" on 22" x 28" acid free stock, is signed by the artist, and is in excellent new condition. As an authorized David Snyder dealer, I have stored this print flat. The print will be carefully rolled in paper to allow easy removal from the heavy mailing tube and sent insured by Priority Mail.
