Published between 1841-1849.Interior of the Mosque of the Sultan El Ghoree, Cairo [Due to its condition, an opportunity to acquire one of the most evocative images from the Egyptian portfolio, at a very modest price.] January 6 (1838) - Roberts was able to enter and draw, the interior of the madrasa-mosque of the Sultan al-Ghari, richly decorated with colored marble. This lithograph is of particular interest, because it shows the appearance of a mosque built on the qa'a plan, the same one used by Sultan Hassan to build his masterpiece.
