Much of its setting will be known to fantasy wargamers everywhere, and thus be very easily accessible. It also has the biggest gribblies you'll see in any 30mm wargame! The Kingdom of Fortriu, that part of Alba between Cait to the north-west with Ce and Circinn to the south, gathers power amongst the seven kingdoms like no other. One by one, their kings and queens ally with Talorc son of Uuid, Righ of Fortriu, for it seems only he has the will and the strength - and indeed the warriors and the ancient pacts with the Oghur and the Oghurüc - to ensure the Albainn remain masters of the wild north. Once a mere kingdom, Fortriu now has holdings in all of Alba: not simply land, but fortresses and bulwarks against the raiders and would-be conquerers to the west and south and, aye, wherever the sea lies, for the enemies of Alba are many and only with Talorc and his kingdom will Alba survive. What can one say about Gomagg, except - 'Blimey, he's big!' The Albainn now have themselves a huge and mighty Giant, our tallest biped by far and an absolutely wonderful miniature that should grace any fantasy tabletop, let alone Darklands.
