Thanks for your interest. Soap dish with grab bar: Measures approx. 5-3/8 inches tall X 6-3/8 inches wide.Total Depth is 3-1/2 inches. Recessed portion is 1/4 inch.This is a surface mount to be installed over the field tile (semi-flush) and not flush with it. There is about 1/2-inch overlay on the surrounding field tile.Depth needed for installation is 1/4 inch from finished surface.Projection from finished surface is 3-1/4 inches.Soap dish area is 2-3/8 inches. Make your cut out in the field tile 4" X 4" or just leave out a whole 4-1/4" tile. Note: Must use thinset adhesive on cement board for grab bar use. Mastic tile glue is fine for washcloth use.
