Description: Dallastown, PA - Royal Cigar Company - Cigar Manufacturers - Unused Vintage Envelopes Here is a collection of 6 vintage unused cigar advertising business envelopes from the Royal Cigar Company which was located in Dallastown, Pennsylvania. These envelopes are standard small size envelopes and measure 3 9/16 inches by 6 1/2 inches. I do not know the age of these but I know they are well over 50 years old. Very good condition - the gum on the envelope flaps is unused and still good. None of the envelope flaps have become stuck to the envelopes because of humidity. The envelopes have age tanning, or acid reaction, or sun fading except where the glue was applied in the manufacturing process to hold the envelopes together. The area where this glue was applied prevented the envelope paper from tanning, fading or reacting with acid. Good Condition CONDITION DETAILS: I am listing these as used because they are not new. However these envelopes are vintage unused envelopes. Envelopes have either some age or acid tanning or perhaps sun fading, You can see white areas on the envelopes where the glue to hold the envelopes together in the manufacturing process prevented the age tanning or acid reaction or sun fading to occur. The glue on the envelope flaps is still good and none of the flaps have stuck fast to the envelopes. No writing, no creases, no tears.
