The wood just retains color with a vengeance lol these are very new in terms of use as they have not been used as they should be and this is an incredible deal so take it and run, they wouldn’t be here if I were still doing watercolor as these are the best of the best da Vinci and we’re immaculately taken care of so you are getting an amazing product! They are all series 550 paint brushes as described above, Brush Sizes are as follows: *120 *40 *60 *50 So I know I paid over $100 for the large one and at 70$ one 60$ for one and 50 $ for the other . I’m not one to usually talk about how much things cost, but I’m only trying to convey what an incredible deal this is for this collection. They are in perfect condition in terms of the brush , the wood was an accident of sorts for the new unused brush , and and the others unfortunately, was before I found the soap I’m using now , which has been the only soap I’ve ever used that has worked on the wood like this . However , this kind of wood definitely kind of cool in the sense of that showing character each time you paint , what I do know and is most important , I’m such a fanatic about taking care of my brushes, making sure I get the brushes washed and conditioned so that they stay in fabulous shape. 😜
