The Gen 2.5 has a redesigned follower and body to make it more backwards compatible with my personal 452. Designed to fit model 457, and they work well in mine. (They have also been reliable with CCI SV and Norma Tac 22 in my own 452 scout as well) These are made from carbon fiber polymer, so have a rough/grippy texture on them. They do need a break in period to smooth out. Because I designed these for my factory stock 457, I can not warranty them for use with a chassis or aftermarket barrel. 100% satisfaction guarantee though, we are proud of what we make here in Idaho. ***Some of you will ask why we went backwards from the 2.6 to the 2.5. We found that the very marginal improvement with some ammo in the 457 was not worth the loss of backwards compatibility with the 452.***
