It reminds me of a wing. The lamp stands 17 1/2" to the top of the socket. The base of the lamp measures 5 3/4" x 5 3/8" The socket of the lamp has been glued to the wood. The lamp will require a clip-on shade. The lamp has a new cord. The cord measures approx. 49" long.
