Description: My friend special order this guitar in 1996, specifically for the 5A top and one piece body. The finish looks like what is called a dirty lemon burst now, but I'm not sure what it was called in 1996. It is kind of a amber with burst on the edges. These were handmade guitars at the time, no CNC machining. Everything is original to the guitar, including the Schaller bridge and tailpiece. The pickups are the limited edition Seymour Duncan Seth Lover signed pickups from the factory. The bridge pickup is a Seymour Duncan BL (59 bridge), and the neck is a Seymour Duncan NL (59 neck). The pickup covers are aged nickel from the factory, and the Grover tuners are nickel aged naturally. The neck is straight with zero fret wear, and I would say the profile is closer to a medium 60s shape. The truss rod works correctly. The body is a one piece Honduran mahogany body. The guitar came from the factory without the pickguard installed, but the pickguard and mounting hardware were included. They are included with the guitar. Has the original warranty card. Since these were handmade, they came from the factory with some imperfections. Slight sanding marks, and etc. It has lived in its case all of its life, so there might be slight case wear. Please ask all questions in advance before purchasing.
