In the 1970s, Sarah Churchill was involved in the commercial publication of a series of drawings by Curtis Hooper entitled, A Visual Philosophy of Sir Winston Churchill. Each piece featured the image of former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and had an embossed quotation. Each lithograph was produced on heavy stock rag paper and has the signatures of both the artist and Churchill's daughter Sarah Churchill. This piece depicts Churchill in front of a microphone, and is embossed with the quote "The priority of any polition...is to prevent war". The piece is also embossed with a seal, is hand signed and marked "AP" (artist proof) 44/50 by Sarah Churchill. The piece (including the frame) measures approx. 42” x 29”.
