Cub Cadet Motor Engine ISO Mounts Quiet Line Tractors

Description: Brand new set of 8 aftermarket rubber motor mounts to fit Cub Cadet Quiet Line tractors 1000,1200,1250,1450,1650 with Kohler K series engines The metal part of the mounts are not included in this auction, you must re-use your original metal mushroom shaped stems from the stock mount. The metal parts shown in the photo are for reference only. Photos with yellow background have new mount on the left and old style mount on the right. ( note the large recess on the top of new mount that centers the holes in cradle and frame for a perfect tight fit) These rubber mounts are a direct replacement for the original cub mounts Part Number IH-61509-C2 ,without the very bad vibration caused by the new style cub cadet factory replacement mounts. They will fit both hydrostatic and standard transmission tractors. The stock original style soft rubber bushings are no longer available from cub cadet. I have used these mounts on my personal Cub Cadet tractors for many years . They will have a little more vibration than the stock mounts but are much more forgiving than the new style cub cadet hard rubber replacements at a cost of $70-$80 for the set of 8. Included in this auction are 8 rubber mounts ( 8 used per tractor). Buy with confidence, I have sold many sets of these mounts on Ebay with very positive results. Worn or damaged motor mounts will cause the engine and cradle to drop off center from the transmission and can cause damage to the driveshaft and driveline components. For best results check the following when replacing the mounts: Pilot bearing, Clutch drive hub (standard Transmission),rubber driveshaft couplers, engine mounting to cradle bolts and Driveshaft for straightness , Replace or repair any damaged components to minimize vibration. Directions will be included in package for installing motor mounts. These rubber bushings are made from flexible rubber and can be installed on metal stems by hand with a coating of liquid soap, do not use a vice or vice grips to press the bushings on to the metal stems, this can cause damage to the stems and rubber mounts. On Jun-21-09 at 19:24:19 PDT, seller added the following information: The K series Kohler engines used in these tractors do not have internal balance gears like the older cub cadet kohler engines that are mounted solid, that is why these engines are mounted with rubber mounts to help control the vibration developed by having no internal balance gears. Don't be fooled by ads for solid steel or hard rubber mounts these will only make the vibration worse. The mounts here are made from a flexible rubber to minimize vibration and provide many more years of service from your cub. The last photo shows the metal inserts used with the original mounts , you will need 8 of these original inserts to reuse for the mounts sold in this auction to work properly 1 for each rubber bushing
