Description: Cover with Confederate States stamp #11c. Stamp has four huge margins with some staining at lower left (perhaps due to glue used to affix the stamp?). Postmark Richmond VA. Letter is addressed to an attorney in Halifax, VA. Envelope is sound with a couple small nicks at the corners and some faint red staining across the front. Back of the envelope is clean, except for a pencil notation probably written by a stamp dealer. Implied Scott catalog value is $155. Will only ship to locations in the US.
