Crossover PCB for the Athenaeum Optimus 2-Way DIY Speaker Design

Description: Custom printed circuit board designed for the crossover of the Athenaeum Optimus 2-way DIY speaker design by Javad Shadzi. Take the guesswork out of crossover assembly, these boards make the assembly process quick and straightforward. These boards measure 7.0" W x 5.65" H and feature large solder pads and wide copper traces for great electrical connectivity. I was commissioned to build a small run of these crossovers and am listing the leftover PCBs from that batch. Photos of assembled crossovers included for reference only! Kit Includes: 1x Crossover PCB for the Athenaeum Optimus speaker design. 3x Terminal blocks which accept up to 12 gauge wire. 4x Snap in PCB standoffs. 4x Mounting screws (screw finish may vary). Requires: Crossover components for the Athenaeum Optimus speaker design, the following are components this PCB was designed to fit, other components of similar dimensions should also work. C1 - 25uF - Dayton Audio DMPC-25 C2 - 40uF - Dayton Audio DMPC-40 C3 - 15uF - Dayton Audio DMPC-15 C4 - 2.5uF - (1.5uF Dayton Audio DMPC-1.5 + 1.0uF Dayton Audio DMPC-1.0) L1 - 5.0mH - Dayton Audio 18 AWG Perfect Layer Inductor L2 - 3.0mH - US Coils 15 AWG Steel Laminate Inductor R1/R4 - 47 Ohm - 10w Wirewound Resistor R2 - 12/12.5 Ohm - 10w Wirewound Resistor R3 - 2.4/2.5 Ohm - 10w Wirewound Resistor R6 - 1.5 Ohm 10w - Wirewound Resistor Assembly: Glue components to the correct positions on the board (hot melt glue works great). Secure inductors with non metallic cable ties. Solder components leads to the pads on the bottom of the board. Attach wires from input and drivers and mount crossover board. The L2 inductor can be additionally secured using nylon screws/nuts.
