Description: After your Apache helicopter crashed on the roof of an island complex, it was a miracle that you survived. Your pilot Grier was not so lucky. As he opened the only door leading off the building, a trap exploded, killing him instantly. It was supposed to be a simple covert mission: gather intelligence on General Minh's base of operations and leave undetected. Now you're stranded on top of a building in a hostile land. The good news is that the chopper suffered minimal damage. The bad news is it needs a piece of equipment to get it back to working order! Fortunately, the Military Communications Link (MCL) will help you get in touch with Kat, a female operative located somewhere on the island. She can help find the missing part so you can both exit the base. Critical Path lets you guide Kat past traps and General Minh's troops as you watch a surveillance camera from a Control Room (located past the booby-trapped door on the roof). Using your MCL and Console Monitor, you'll serve as her eyes and ears during the game. Read Minh's notebook to decipher clues on how to disarm various bombs and traps. If you don't enter the correct code, Kat will die! Critical Path features 13 different puzzles to solve before you can safely leave the island.
