These mini posters were available only to retail stores to promote and advertise the larger standard size posters for sale in the store's display unit. Retail stores received a packet containing one sample mini poster for each athlete featured on a poster. The paper stock is very light, easily damaged. Those that I am offering are crease free with clean backs. You will find that these mini posters are included in the 2002 SCD Standard Catalogue of Baseball Cards. I've also scanned a copy of the envelope and letter that I've kept in my inventory from Starline who also sent retailers promotional mini posters.
