Corvette C6 06-13 Paddle Shifters & 3D Printed Adapters Kit

Description: I was playing around with installing different paddle shifters on my C6. I loved the idea, but the only products available are +$200. While looking for a different option, I came across paddle shifter "extensions" that are made for a variety of cars. Single-piece machined aluminum and many different style-options. I came across a set for a VW Golf GTI that unscrew from the molded mount and also match the appearance of my steering wheel. I designed and 3D printed a set of adapters to mount them and they worked perfectly. At the same time I also did the "F1" wiring mod, so the paddles shift according to the markings on the paddles. This is the same kit sold by my partner at Modified Vettes. I'm the original designer and I'm offloading some excess stock. I do not plan on restocking these personally. The Paddles/Fitment:These will fit any 2006 - 2013 Corvette C6 and will work with any aftermarket steering wheel as long as the OEM paddle shifters are still usable. If you just want the adapters so you can use your own paddles. Here are the basic steps involved. Note you will have to remove the airbag and disassemble the paddle assembly to do this. 1: Pop out and remove the steering wheel airbag.2: Disconnect and unscrew the paddle-shift switch assemblies.3: Remove the three cover screws and pull off the cover.4: Pry out the lever assembly from the post mounts using a flat head and unscrew the paddle.5: Install these adapters and reassemble. The paddles themselves are screwed into the adapters using the screws they came with.6. (NOTE) on the left driver side paddle assembly, if it doesn't seem to spring back or "click" when you shift, then the main hex bolt that holds the paddle assembly on the wheel is too tight and it is hitting the bolt when you pull it. I don't know why this only happens on the left side only, but it does. Unscrew the bolt approximately two full turns and test it. It will not be loose on in the unit. If you haven't already, be sure to do the "F1" wiring mod as well so the paddles shift according to the markings on the paddles.
