WC51 model is made of high-quality die-cast metal. Model comes with 2 plastic side-mirrors inside box. Like other Corgi Forgotten Heroes vehicle series, WC-51 3/4-Ton Weapons Carrier has been “muddied” to give it a more weathered appearance and this model loaded with supplies. Forgotten Heroes Commemorative Collection includes informational commemorative booklet and numbered limited edition certificate. Rugged two-ton, 4x4 Weapons Carrier was an Army workhorse in both World War II and, with some modifications, during Korean War as well. This model is from 82nd AM (Automatic Weapons Battalion) of 2nd Infantry Division. WC-51 was favorite mode of transportation for carrying weapons and supplies during Korea War. This beautifully crafted item features a 1:43 scale model of a Corgi brand WC-51 Weapons Carrier was used in military operations during Korean War.
