This is the first—and best—version, featuring two main functions: a three-stage rocket firing mechanism and a front-mounted tyre slasher blade. The rocket firing mechanism is activated by turning a small toothed wheel on the top of the car, launching three red missiles in succession from the chrome-plated rocket tubes at the rear. These rounded missiles are safe, even if ingested, as they would pass harmlessly through the digestive system. The front tyre slasher is operated by pressing a button on the bonnet, swinging out a gold-plated, serrated blade. As the car moves, a simulated exhaust flame at the back pulsates back and forth. The car itself is painted black, with the iconic Batman logo on the sides and the gold-plated hubs. Batman and Robin figures are seated in the cockpit, and an additional large Batman figure is sculpted on the underside of the chassis. Specific Item Details Both the model and its box are all original, with Batman and Robin figures still in place. The flame pulsates when the car moves, and the tyre slasher pops out smoothly when the button is pressed. It includes three original missiles and the top-secret instruction sheet. The display stand is in great shape with no damage, and the box is also in very good condition, with only one flap starting to come loose (as shown in the pictures). The rest of the flaps are intact.
