The leaves have a soft painted tone, hencethe watercolor description.Plates measure 10 1/2" square. Weight, without packing, is 4 1/2 pounds. The plates are in very good condition. No chips, cracks or stains.I could only find a very fine scratch mark on one plate.You have to hold it up to the light to even see it. I added pictures of the plates with red and smoke gray water glassesjust to show how different colors can bring out the beauty and simplicityof these plates. Sorry, the glasses are not for sale.
