On PCNC770 and PCNC1100 models, there are two M6 tapped mounting holes in the underside of the spindle casting.These holes are typically filled with paint and possibly putty at the factory. Clean out the holes and chase the threads with an M6-1.0 tap to provide the mounting point for this bracket. On M and MX model mills, these holes usually are already cleared and ready to accept fasteners. These holes are normally used to mount Tormach's fancier (and expensive) coolant manifold included in their factory coolant kit.Note also that this manifold inlet port is threaded for 1/4-NPT, rather than the larger 1/2-NPT as used on the factory M/MX manifold.Although maximum flow rate is slightly less on this manifold, it is more than adequate for good coolant coverage and the flow rate of most smaller coolant pumps. *** NOTE - You will need to provide a connection to your existing coolant hose. You may connect to either the 1/4-NPT inlet on the ball valve or use the 2x 1/4in-NPTx3/8inch hose barbs provided. Please see our other listing if you would prefer less expensive versions of this manifold that uses segmented coolant line instead of the ball spray nozzles. Those swivel nozzles are expensive!
