The Lens focuses smoothly and the lens blades are clean and show with no oil.The front optic has coating damage from scratches and aging. I think it will need to be re-polish in order to get the best image quality outcome. As is you still can use but the image quality will be very limited. Because of the lens front element's issues, I'm selling it "AS IS" for parts only with No return and No refund. Please make sure this is what you want to buy before purchase it. I took a few images as a sample to show you the image quality so you have some idea to what kind of quality that you are getting off from this very lens. It is from the last three images shown in the pictures. Other than the front optic's issue, the rest of the lens is very clean and has no issue. If you have a nice lens like this but has a bad rear element or bad internal element, then this is a very good replacement parts. The chrome finish lens barrel looks very nice and it's in excellent working condition. It comes with a black plastic front lens cap and a metal rear lens cap only.
