Description: You will receive the Columbian quick release wood working vise shown. This is a serious tool, it weighs about 28 3/4 lb. prior to packaging. I've cleaned the guide bars, the screw and the bench dog, but I tried to save the original paint/patina. This vise is somewhat unusual in that the right side of the jaws (facing it) are at a roughly 30 degree angle (about 27 degree using a cheap protractor). The jaws are about 4" tall, 8 1/8" wide at the bottom and 7 1/4" wide at the top. The maximum opening is about 9 1/4". This vise works very well and show no significant wear . There are no wooden jaw faces on it and is doesn't look like there ever has been. The jaws don't show any significant scarring, just some surface rust. You could simply attach this vice to your bench and put it to work if you wish or it would be a simple restoration. This older (70's maybe) U.S. made vise could give you a lifetime of service if used properly. . You will just receive the vise, there is nothing else included.
