Description: 15 lbs of coke. This is the good stuff. It's metallurgical coke. It burns clean and hot, as you can see in the pictures. Its smaller size makes it easy to work with. Your work will easily slide into your fire. No fighting to get around big chunks. It's easy to light because of greater surface area to volume ratio. It lasts a surprisingly long time and produces minimal clinker. It's low in sulfer and ash and high in carbon. It won't rust out your forge hood and chimney like coal does. No billowing clouds of acrid yellow smoke. It burns as clean as propane (almost). You won't go home looking like a coal miner. You'll stay relatively clean by comparison. Once you try this coke, you'll never go back to coal. Your neighbors will love you. Lighting it is easy. Build a softball sized teepee fire with a tight wad of newspaper at the center. Light it and turn on your blower to low. Add a few more sticks as it gets going. The more it gets going, the more air you can feed it. When it's burning well, start adding coke around the edges working towards the center. Always have flames showing. Never bury your fire. In about 10 minutes, you'll have a working fire. To increase its size, add more air. To reduce its size, use less air. To put the fire out, walk away. It'll go out by itself. It's that simple.
