Description: Coalport Hand Painted Floral Cobalt & Gold Porcelain Cup & Saucer Circa 1815-25 Nice British Coalport porcelain cup and saucer. Decorated with a gold grape vine on the outside of the cup. With a cobalt border with gold gilt grape vine overlay and hand painted flowers in pink, orange, yellow, purple, and white. The saucer is marked with the pattern number 840 on the bottom. Circa 1815-1825. Has crazing typical of British porcelain and some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. The cup measures approximately 3 7/8 inches wide including the handle x 3 3/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 1/2 inches wide.
