Description: This fine 11" x 14" photo taken by early 20th c. photographer Darius Kinsey (1869-1940) depicts a logging crew on a 'steam donkey" adjacent to a small shunting narrow track steam engine. It is labeled: "Coal Creek Lumber Co. / Kinsey Photo / No 8. the photo is in excellent condition and is on paper that was used late than the time the photo was taken which makes me think it might have been one that was produced by Jesse Ebert who produced prints from original Kinsey negatives some time after he bought the whole collection from Tabitha Kinsey after Darius's death in 1940. I think the Coal Creek in the photo is the area still known by that name South and East of Bellevue, Washington. Stock number SA2D-35
