Description: This mug is really unique and quite lovely. The mug is rounded and depicts a brick home all decorated with candles and a wreath at the door. The chimney that Santa goes down is the handle. There is snow on the handle (making a lovely place for your thumb as you drink). The home has snow on the roof. A very nice and nostalgic piece. This piece may be vintage. Because it is all glazed over, it can probably be put in the dishwasher, but I'm not sure. I did some research to fine out who Claire Burke is or was and made this discovery: Claire was the founder of a home fragrance company. She was an interior decorator in Charlottesville, VA and created her signature fragrances in her home. She died in 1993 at age 85, but her products live on! The company has a website.
