Circuit Board Repairs: Blown Fuse Repair/Replacement Kit

Description: Have a old Nintendo DS, DS Lite, or other device you tried to do a bit of tinkering with but now doesn't power on or charge at all? With all the modern tech we're adding to our old consoles we're asking a lot of them and it can be very easy to accidentally give the board a bit more voltage than it was designed for, causing a blown fuse and stopping your project in its tracks. So whether your issue was a mod project that didn't go as planned or an old unit for repair, these kits have what you'll need to get back on track and have your console functioning as it should. Each kit includes 3 fuses, so you'll be covered whether its a classic DS or GBA (which only have one fuse) or another member of the DS or PSP* family of consoles (which have 2) and at least one backup for when you sneeze and lose one. These fuses are also smaller than the fuse your device has by default (usually 0603), but this isn't an issue as long as you use enough solder to make contact with the solder pads. Each kit includes:3x 0402 500mA, 32V fast-blow SMD fuses *note that PSP systems include 3 (PSP 1000) to 6 fuses (PSP 2000 and 3000) - a backlight fuse (0.5A), and up to 5 others others ranging between 1A and 2.5A. While these kits won't cause damage if installed in all locations, you may experience some issues if you attempt to use these for the higher amperage fuses.
