Description: Circa 1920's souvenir plate from "The Rice" Hotel in Houston Texas. President John F. Kennedy visited The Rice Hotel the day before he was assassinated. Seller's note: I'm pretty sure but not positive that this plate is Circa 1920's. It could be 30's - 40's but unlikely. It is about 9 3/4" wide. It is in good used condition. There are no chips, cracks, or hairlines. There is surface wear/utensil marks commensurate with use that is hard-to-notice until turned toward the light. There is no crazing or discoloration. This piece displays very well. Regarding combined shipping. In most cases, several pieces can be shipped in a single box. When this occurs, I will credit the purchaser's account any shipping difference. In-other-words, I charge exact shipping for same time multiple purchases. I cannot issue these credits until I've purchased the postage so it may take a day or two. I do this often. I have never had a discrepancy complaint. My customers are in very good hands.
