Description: This vintage framed print features the blessing of children by Christ, as depicted by Josef Mathausar. The intricate details and beautiful colors make this piece a perfect addition to any collection of Christian art. Mathausar was Czech and died in 1917. Research I've completed shows that the original painting depicted in this print was completed in 1900. His signature is visible in the lower left corner of the print, "Jos. Mathausar." he print has some fading and the backing has become loose in a few spots (see pics). I did not glue it back together, so it is photographed and for sale as found. This print is ideal for those who appreciate the beauty of religious art and want to add a touch of Christianity to their home or office. The decorative wooden frame measures 11 x 9. There is a wire hanger located on the back of the print.
